道の駅むなかた

ファームガーデンの位置する田野は、九州一の売り上げを誇る「道の駅むなかた」へ車で５分の距離にあります。「道の駅むなかた」は、国道４９５号線沿いで、福岡から小倉から車や高速バス、観光バスで、新鮮な海産物と野菜を求める方が開店前から並んでいます。道の駅むなかたを覗けば近隣の農水産物の旬がわかります。

「ファームガーデン」・「田野のおいしいお米」

道の駅から車で数分の近さにある「ファームガーデン」は『１０年無農薬・有機栽培』をモットーに、ハーブ・季節の露地野菜・お米を栽培しています。農薬を使わず、除草剤も使わず、ぼかし中心の有機肥料で栽培しています。圃場は田野地域の5箇所ほどに分散していますが。中心は宗像市田野７０７－３です。宗像大社から鐘崎へ向かう県道沿いに、玄海ゴルフクラブという赤い看板があります。シーズンには、この三叉路に「新米」の赤いのぼりがはためいています。道の駅で無農薬野菜が見当たらない時など、ぜひお立ち寄りください。ここから玄海ロイヤルホテルまで歩いて５分、玄海ゴルフ倶楽部も同様です。

「まねき猫」・「村茶子」・「payanpayan&dii 」・「ぱんみつ」

田野から車で５分の距離に「農家レストラン・まねき猫」があり、素朴なランチを提供しています。田野から車で１０分ほどの距離には古民家をそのまま使った「暮らしのカフェ村茶子」があります。近隣の無農薬栽培野菜の味を活かした素朴な料理が評判です。田野から車で鐘崎方面へ５分ほどの距離に革細工とカフェの「payanpayandii」があります。弘大寺山のふもとに小さな養蜂場「ぱんみつ」があります。

ファームガーデンから車で５分の距離に「nonna」があり、素朴なランチを提供しています。

「玄海ロイヤルホテル」・「若潮丸」

アグリツーリズムの田野には宿泊の拠点となる「玄海ロイヤルホテル」があり、近くには和風旅館（宗像市観光協会）も数軒存在します。これらの宿泊施設では漁港に水揚げされた魚介類を始めとす新鮮な海産物、採りたての野菜、名産の鶏、牧場直送の牛肉などを使った独創的な料理が提供されています。今後宿泊客の要望を入れて「地産地消」が進んで行く事でしょう。
また昼食には地元の漁港から直送された魚介類の料理がお勧めです。「若潮丸」が安くて美味しいと評判です。玄界灘のいか活き造りは電話予約が確実です。

「カナディアンキャンプ」・「玄海ゴルフクラブ」

田野から車で５分ほど離れた神湊交差点にカナディアンキャンプがあります。この乗馬クラブには田野を馬で廻るツアーがあります。馬で廻るアグリツーリズムなんて他にはないと思いませんか？その他玄海ゴルフ場も田野にあります。

宗像大社「神宝館」「辺津宮」・海の道むなかた館

なんと言っても宗像といえば世界遺産「神宿る島」宗像・沖ノ島と関連遺産群の「宗像大社辺津宮」ですが、ファームガーデンから車で数分の距離です。宗像大社本殿奥には博物館「神宝館」がひっそりと佇んでいます。しかしここには沖ノ島から出土した８万点に上る出土品が収蔵され一部が展示されています。多数の国宝が展示されているのですが、それだけでも圧巻です。中でも精巧な細工の金の指輪は、これが古代の工芸品かと驚きを禁じ得ません。「神宝館」のWEBサイトで拡大表示された1500年も前に製作された指輪の美しさを実感することができます。ぜひお試しください。
宗像大社向かいには「海の道むなかた館」があり、むなかた地域の遺跡について詳しく展示されています。「海の道むなかた館」は、テムザックのロボットが展示されています。これは近くにテムザック研究所が誘致されたからです。
海の道むなかた館は、歴史的遺跡を中心にした展示体験施設として2014年に開館しました。宗像市には200５年から「むなかた電子博物館」がオープンし、むなかた地域の自然・文化・歴史を総合的に調査・研究・展示しています。アグリツーリズムの田野を訪れる前に是非「むなかた電子博物館」で、むなかた地域のあらましをご理解下さると、一層旅が楽しめるかと思います。
